《大红狗克里弗》大红狗是只比两层楼还高、比喷火还红的狗。大红和牠的主人艾茉莉及另外两条宠物狗小胖和克利欧生活在一座美丽的小岛上，每天快乐地嬉戏与生活并历经种种奇遇。由于大红狗天真可爱，但不很成熟，所以闹出了许多可爱又可笑的故事。大红狗通过一个个幽默有趣的故事向小朋友传递着自信、公平、尊敬、诚实、善良等成长必须的品质。大红狗系列在美国的《出版者周刊》和《今日美国》最畅销书排行榜上名列前茅。
大红狗诞生于1963年，由美国著名儿童作家、插画家诺尔曼·伯德韦尔所塑造，首本“大红狗”故事书出版后，长期占据美国各大畅销书排行榜——由于图书的巨大成功，它的形象已衍生出图书、电影、玩具、服装等无数产品。
故事主要讲述了大红狗和小主人艾米莉之间的有趣生活。大红狗和艾米莉每天快乐地嬉戏与生活，由于大红狗天真可爱，但不很成熟，所以闹出了许多可爱又有趣的故事。
